- Click to start menu
- In the search box, type regedit.exe.
- Tap or click the displayed regedit.exe icon.
- The Registry Editor window appears.

Step 2:

Configure permissions for the MSLicensing registry key. To do this, follow these steps:
- Locate the following registry subkey for MSLicensing by clicking or tapping on the arrow to the left of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then click or tap on the arrow to the left of SOFTWARE, followed by Microsoft, then find MSLicensing.
- Swipe across or right-click the MSLicensing key, and then tap or click Permissions.

- Tap or click Add.

- In the Select Users or Groups dialog box, tap or click Locations.

- Select the local computer at the top of the list, and then tap or click OK.

- Type the following value in the Enter the object names to select box:

Choose MSLicensing

- Tap or click OK
- In the Permissions for ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES section of the screen, select the check box in the Allow column next to Read, and then tap or click OK.
