[solved] How to fix "Please check if this files is opened in another program" on Notepad++

It seems that you are having trouble with the User Account Control (UAC) settings on your  Windows 10  or Windows 11 computer. UAC is a feature that helps prevent unauthorized changes to your system by asking for your permission or password before installing or running certain programs. However, sometimes UAC can interfere with the normal operation of Notepad++, a popular text editor and source code editor.

There are a few possible ways to fix the UAC issue with Notepad++. Here are some suggestions:

•  Run Notepad++ as an administrator. This will give  Notepad++  full access to your system and bypass the UAC prompts. To do this, right-click the Notepad++ shortcut or executable file and select Run as administrator. You can also set Notepad++ to always run as an administrator by right-clicking the shortcut or executable file, selecting Properties, clicking the Compatibility tab, and checking the Run this program as an administrator box.

•  Disable UAC completely. This will stop  Windows  from asking for your permission or password for any program or task. However, this is not recommended, as it will reduce the security of your system and expose it to potential threats. 

Alternatively, you can use the Fix it tool from Microsoft to automatically disable UAC for you.

•  Change the UAC settings to a lower level. This will reduce the number of UAC prompts you get, but still keep some level of protection for your system. To change the UAC settings, you can follow the steps in this guide

You can also access the UAC settings from the Control Panel or by typing "uac" in the search box and clicking Change User Account Control settings. You can choose from four levels of UAC settings, ranging from Always notify to Never notify. The default level is Notify me only when apps try to make changes to my computer.

Error with Notepad++

Step 1:
Use run -> find Notepad++ -> running as administrator (Notepad++)

Step 2:
Drag your hosts file to desktop and then you can easy to edit it. After done, drag again to (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts)
