[Tips] How to make border color on any image

If you want to add some color and style to your images, one of the easiest ways is to create a border color effect with Photoshop. This effect can make your images stand out and look more attractive and professional. In this webzone tech tips zidane article, we will show you how to make border color on any image with Photoshop in a few simple steps.

First, you need to open your image in Photoshop and create a new layer. To do this, go to Layer > New > Layer or press Ctrl+Shift+N on your keyboard. Name the new layer "Border" and click OK.

Next, you need to select the image layer and make a selection around it. To do this, go to Select > All or press Ctrl+A on your keyboard. Then, go to Edit > Copy or press Ctrl+C on your keyboard to copy the image.

Now, you need to paste the image on the border layer and resize it. To do this, go to Edit > Paste or press Ctrl+V on your keyboard to paste the image. Then, go to Edit > Free Transform or press Ctrl+T on your keyboard to activate the transform tool. Hold down the Shift key and drag the corners of the image inward until you have a thin border around it. Press Enter to confirm the transformation.

Next, you need to apply the outer glow effect to the border layer. To do this, go to Layer > Layer Style > Outer Glow or double-click on the border layer in the Layers panel. In the Layer Style dialog box, choose a color for the glow from the color picker. You can also adjust the opacity, size, spread, and range of the glow according to your preference. Click OK to apply the effect.

Finally, you need to save your image with the border color effect. To do this, go to File > Save As or press Ctrl+Shift+S on your keyboard. Choose a name and format for your image and click Save.

And that's it! You have successfully created a border color effect on any image with Photoshop. You can use this technique to enhance any image you want and give it a unique look.
