If you are on a PC, you need to hold the SHIFT button in, and click on the “Check For Update button”.
(open iTunes the first time, you can see this message)
If you are on a MAC, you need to hold the OPTION key and click on “Check For Update button”.
You will then be asked to locate the file you downloaded (using Firefox and Download Them All), and chose that file. Once you have selected the file, iTunes will continue the installation as per normal.
